StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty patch 1.3.5 has released by Blizzard Entertainment. The patch features several bug fixes, as well as minor interface changes.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Amnesia is a first person survival horror game for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The game features an unarmed protagonist exploring a dark and foreboding castle, while avoiding monsters and other obstructions as well as solving puzzles. So, are you ready to play Amnesia: The Dark Descent?

Amnesia is an adventure game played from a first-person perspective. The game retains the physical object interaction used in the Penumbra series, allowing for advanced physics based puzzles and interactions such as opening doors and fixing machinery.

Amnesia does not give the player access to weapons. As such, the player must use their wits to escape and hide from the monsters until they lose interest in finding the player. However, monsters are very capable of tearing down doors in their path and kicking obstacles out of the way. Players can also choose to hide in the shadows at the cost of slowly losing their sanity. Another thing the player can do is barricade doors with rocks, chairs, and other obstacles. But the monsters do move very quickly when alerted, so the player has to be quick.

Team Fortress 2 'Uber Update'. Thursday, June 23 2011, Valve will launch 'Uber Update’ the biggest, most ambitious update in the history of Team Fortress 2 the shooter multiplayer game.

Valve also offered the following clues to another upcoming feature:

1.) It IS a "Meet the" short.
2.) It involves ONE of the two remaining classes.
3.) It's NOT the Pyro.
4.) It's the MEDIC.

Dungeon Siege 3 Demo

Dungeon Siege 3, an upcoming action role-playing game for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. Since Tuesday, the demo for the third game in the series Dungeon Siege has been out and available for Xbox 360.

The demo offers players the choice of two out of the four characters: Lucas, the Guardian and Anjali, the Archon. Both characters have a wide range of abilities that they can learn over time and equipment to carry. As well, they each have two separate fighting stances that they can enter into in order to have access to different abilities and equipment.

Lucas at first feels like a typical grunt or warrior character that is a staple to the action RPG genre, able to wield big swords, wear heavy armor and generally soak up and deal a lot of damage. His first fighting stance is more defensive, being that of a sword and shield, while his second is more aggressive, allowing him to wield a two-handed sword that sweeps at enemies all around him.

Story:The game will be returning to the Kingdom of Ehb and focus on the 10th Legion. The legionnaires protected Ehb during the War of Legions and at the end of the war, the commanders of the 10th Legion established a new and independent kingdom of Ehb. The Legion continued to provide stability and protection while the ruler-ship of the kingdom was left to the monarchy.

The Legion became powerful with its influence matching the monarchy. Thirty years ago, the Ehb's king was murdered and the blame was cast upon the Legion. Led by Jeyne Kassynder, the people rose up and the 10th Legion is on the verge of being wiped out.

With the fall of the Legion, the kingdom has broken into smaller states, with Jeyne Kassynder controlling the Church and eastern Ehb. The monarchs have retreated to the mountain of Glitterdelve.

Only a few groups of the Legion descendants managed to survive as most of them were hunted down and slain by Jeyne Kassynder - while others fell victim to the mobs. One of the groups that managed to survive is led by Venerable Odo - believed to be the last surviving legionnaire.

Odo initiated a gathering and asked all the Legion descendants to assemble in northern Ehb, in an attempt to rebuild the Legion and take back their kingdom from Jeyne Kassynder. Dungeon Siege 3 will be released on June 21 2011. (source)

'Duke Nukem Forever' Demo Launch Today. Gearbox Software has just announced demo of the “Duke Nukem Forever.” The demo is currently available only to those who enrolled in the First Access Club by pre-ordering the game.

To grab your sneak preview, you’ll need to log into the First Access website, where you’ll be rewarded with a code for the demo.

Duke Nukem Forever releases on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 10 internationally, and June 14 in the US.

Call of Duty Elite: Today Activision has announced a new online service, which will allow the Call of Duty community to connect, compete and improve their multiplayer experience. Activision Blizzard says that multiplayer combat will continue to be free with the purchase of a $60 game, but those who pay subscriptions will get extras through Call of Duty Elite.

Call of Duty Elite will be offering cutting-edge features that significantly enhance the franchises’ multiplayer experience and deliver a new level of social engagement for players worldwide. Additionally, the service will offer exclusive, high-production value, original entertainment programming designed exclusively for the Call of Duty community.

“The average Call of Duty player spends 58 minutes per day playing multiplayer. That is more than the average Facebook user spends per day on Facebook. And yet, right now, there are very few tools to unite and super charge that social community,” said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing. “Whether it’s allowing you to connect with your friends, or people of a similar skill level, people who live in your city, people who share your favorite passions, join competitive clans or social groups, or upload, view and comment on the incredible mass of player-generated content, or watch and comment on exclusive created content, Call of Duty Elite will give people more ways to connect with fellow players than ever before. In Asia, Sony plans to restore the PlayStation Network on Saturday May 27th. A fresh report today from Japanese publication Famitsu has revealed that Sony intends to switch the PlayStation Network back online for Japan and a small list of other Asian countries including Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, as reported from VG247.

Users of the PlayStation network have been given some free rewards as recognition for Sony’s appreciation during the outage. With the PlayStation network status getting back online, worldwide gamers can now get back into their gaming.

Modern Warfare 3 trailer. Are you wating for the first trailer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3? According to the reports, Modern Warfare 3 trailer set to air this Monday during the NBA finals.

According to a NeoGAF user who says that a teaser for the next Call of Duty iteration was shown during the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks NBA game last night.
The teaser apparently ended by showing the date May 23, hinting towards a full trailer reveal in the play-off finals on Monday evening. It'll be the first bit of Modern Warfare 3 publicity that hasn't come in the form of a leak.
